Position Summary :
The Early Youth Employment Services (EYES) Summer Program Coordinator supports the EYES Instructor who teaches the Pre-Employment curriculum to high school and transition age students with disabilities during the school breaks and summer camp programs. This position requires a 5-day work week during school breaks and summer months. The hours for this position will be in-person from 8AM and 4PM on weekdays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for supporting the delivery of services for students in the EYES program.
- Supports classroom instruction with a pre-vocational skills curriculum (career exploration, job readiness, interview skills, etc.) to high school and transition aged students.
- Maintains effective control and management of classroom.
- Provides support and supervision during community outing days.
- Work one-on-one with students who may require additional support.
- Assist with daily delivery of career readiness and educational workshops.
- Assist in planning and running group activities for students.

Ability to communicate and present information informally and formally to candidates for employment, new hires, program participants, employees and other professional groups.

Equipment
Knowledge of computers.
