Job Description:
At Tommy's Express Car Wash, we're looking for a Wash Tech who is passionate about delivering top-quality car wash experiences to our valued Members/Guests. As a Wash Tech, you will be responsible for major maintenance tasks, car wash sales, and safety of Guests vehicles and car wash equipment. This will be at our Dallas location. Bilingual is a big plus.
General Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Cultivate and maintain strong Member/Guest relations, consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Perform all opening and closing tasks, with the ability to operate 7 days a week.
- Ensure the upkeep of the site, grounds, and car wash.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and generate necessary reports.
- Maintain open communication with leadership, reporting both positive and challenging situations.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and handbook guidelines with your team.
- Actively participate in all team meetings, engaging in discussions to enhance company operations and promptly executing new ideas with the team.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional wash quality to exceed Member/Guest expectations.
- Manage Member/Guest damage claims, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
- Participate in wash sales training with all staff, including commission programs and upselling techniques for the Unlimited Club.
- Operate and optimize wash controllers to ensure consistent and high-quality wash results.
- Update checklists, performing additional tasks as needed.
- Handle chemical and wash supply transfers.
- Handle wash cleaning and any necessary maintenance activities.
- Conduct walkthroughs to inspect cleanliness and maintenance from open to close.
- Be responsible for daily wash maintenance, including coordinating wash operations as necessary.
- Schedule and perform wash maintenance tasks.
- Ensure vacuum areas are well-maintained and clean.
- Maintain wash cleaning standards, ensuring freedom from dirt, grime, and overall neatness.
- Optimize production on busy days by controlling line speed, pre-selling the line, and ensuring proper guide-in procedures.
- Consistently uphold company sales procedures to exceed Member/Guest service expectations.
- Collaborate with the wash operations team on special projects.
- Update, maintain, and ensure the completion of checklists.
- Perform any additional tasks that benefit the company and enhance the guest experience.
