Established in 2020, Olympus Pines is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, boasting a formidable team of 200 and counting. Our Maintenance department is the foundation of our commitment to quality operations. We pride ourselves on a workplace culture rooted in support and employee satisfaction.
Our innovative and growing team is looking for a Maintenance Apprentice, that will oversee multiple locations around Charleston, SC. working with a technical expert to learn and become proficient in all maintenance duties at the car wash locations.
Apprentices with work with Technicians to maintain and repair any facility or equipment issues at assigned sites to ensure that we are maintaining Olympus Pines maintenance standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- Use our work order system to document and plan issues and tasks
- Diagnose issues pertaining to maintenance with a preventative and proactive mindset
- Partner with Technicians to learn all aspects of repair and maintenance
- Constantly staying up to date with maintenance equipment updates and procedures
- Ensure that quality meets Olympus Pines standards
Role Qualifications:
- Experience with high voltage (480 volt) preferred
- Experience with low voltage control preferred
- Mechanical aptitude (bearings, gear boxes)
- Pneumatics knowledge (solenoids, air shocks) preferred
- Experience with welding and metal fabrication preferred
- Experience with plumbing (PVC, copper pipe fitting, solenoids)
- Able to manage multiple projects and tasks while prioritizing by urgency
- Ability to work flexible hours and days and be available outside of a traditional schedule
- Valid Driver’s License and able to pass MVR
