Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician to join our team at a leading automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in automotive repair and diagnostics, particularly in powertrain and electrical systems. As a Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical components.
- Utilize advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed, ensuring compliance with dealership standards.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear communication regarding repair needs and customer concerns.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing expertise in automotive repair techniques and best practices.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and equipped with the necessary tools and supplies.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role within an automotive dealership setting.
- Strong background in automotive repair, particularly with powertrain systems and electrical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with using power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
