As an entry-level sales representative, you will be key to driving business growth by generating and nurturing leads, evaluating opportunities, and assisting in the sales process. Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to potential customers.
- Research potential clients, including companies and nonprofits, to identify new business opportunities and prospects.
- Review and assess Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to determine alignment with our services and goals.
- Build relationships and identify leads through industry events, professional organizations, and other networking opportunities.
- Support sales negotiations and help draft scopes of work for potential projects.
- Contact prospects via phone to introduce our services and explore their needs.
- Email Marketing: Create and send targeted email campaigns using Constant Contact to engage prospects and generate interest.
- CRM: Use Hubspot to record and follow up with prospects, status, and sales activities. Run weekly reports to gauge the progress of leads and conversions.
- Event Participation: Attend local trade shows, networking events, and other professional gatherings to identify leads and promote our services.

Educational & Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor or Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is desired.
- Previous experience in sales and customer service is required (internships, part-time roles, or academic projects in sales are a plus).
- Familiarity with digital marketing services or working with a marketing agency is beneficial.
Technical Proficiency
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) to track and manage leads.
- Experience with email marketing tools (Constant Contact or similar platforms) is advantageous.
- Comfortable with conducting lead generation calls and following up via phone and email.
- Ability to use LinkedIn and other digital platforms for networking and outreach.
Industry-Specific Knowledge
- Understanding of marketing agency services and how businesses benefit from digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of sales strategies, including lead nurturing and consultative selling.
- Ability to recognize and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as potential business opportunities.
Desired (But Not Mandatory) Certifications
- HubSpot Sales Software Certification.

Work Environment & Location Requirements
- Candidates must be local to Massachusetts, preferably the Greater Boston and Lowell.
