Tomorrow's Children is a residential treatment facility that works with difficult youth, ages 5-18, and their families. Tomorrow's Children is seeking a full-time therapist/counselor to join our team. This position is responsible for providing individual and group therapy, family therapy, and educational training. They will need to have to ability to provide these services to those with behavioral challenges and trauma histories.

- Perform as an integral part the program to provide the children with a safe, caring, positive, learning environment.
- Work with county, state, and other social workers in developing and implementing a therapeutic treatment plan.
- Conduct children's individual and group therapy.
- Maintain awareness of all contracting requirements as they pertain to social services or therapy requirements.
- Assist with children's referrals and intake.
- Assess independent living skills of children.
- Assist with parent training, plan, organize, and complete projects as assigned.
- Coordinate and support discharge planning.
- Function as liaison for children's community involvement.
- Assist in developing behavior management programs.
- Physically contain and/or escort acting out children.
- Move between buildings on grounds in all types of weather.
- Supervise agency following chain of authority guidelines.
Requirements:
- Verified master's degree in social or behavioral science field.
- Driver's license and State of Wisconsin minimum insurance coverage.
- Background and application check satisfactory to state licensing requirements.
- Ability to obtain State of Wisconsin Counseling Certifications.
- Ability to learn supervisory skills.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
