Housing Coach
The Housing Coach enrolls and provides services for participants of rental assistance programs including the Making Moves: Voucher Mobility Program. Position activities include interviewing potential participants, assessing and verifying eligibility, creating housing search plans, and providing support to secure housing in an opportunity area. This position also provides post move support services to ensure positive housing outcomes. Post move support may include working with families to mediate tenancy issues; facilitating resource connections with community support agencies related to housing, neighborhood and school information and other household needs.
Minimum Qualification
- At least two (2) years’ experience working with people in a case management or coaching capacity
- Meet TCAction criteria for satisfactory driver’s license to access agency vehicles for program related activities
- Preference given to bilingual applicants
