About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team at Tompkins Community Bank. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while handling cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Summary

This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

• Welcoming clients warmly and addressing their needs in a professional manner.
• Assisting clients with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
• Maintaining accurate records and balancing cash drawers.
• Providing information about bank products and services to clients.
• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience in a banking or retail setting.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Benefits and Compensation
