The Cash Handling and Financial Services Associate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining awareness of new business opportunities with customers and actively referring them to appropriate customer service personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Process various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Provide accurate and efficient customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain awareness of new business opportunities with customers and actively refer them to appropriate customer service personnel.
- Prepare daily settlement and proof of cash transactions, balancing cash drawers accurately and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Process night deposit, mail deposit, ATM deposit, and courier deposit transactions.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Cash handling experience in banking, cash office, or retail setting is required.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Exemplary organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to operate teller equipment and learn banking systems quickly is required.
- Proficient PC skills are necessary.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash transactions are required.
