Job Summary :

The focus of our Commercial Account Manager is to build and maintain great customer relationships by providing excellent communication and customer service. This position will work closely and continually with our Commercial Services Team to fulfill customer service, customer requests and proposals. The Commercial Account Manager will continually strive for excellence. This is a professional inside sales position.

Exemption Status : Exempt

Position Duties & Responsibilities :

Creates, maintains, and manages customer accounts with positive communications and efficient schedules to achieve excellence in customer service, ensuring that the customer knows that they always come first at Tom’s.
Process new service repair proposals and logistics of parts and timelines
Develops and conducts presentations and other customer information in an effective way.
Ability, willingness, and drive to meet sales goals
Works with GM to develop and maintain business growth plans
Utilizes excellent closing skills and ability to logically overcome objectives
Performs other related office duties as required

Necessary Skills / Abilities :

First-rate interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent negotiation skills

Knowledge of HVAC Systems, installation agreements, and service agreements

Professional and courteous verbal and written communication skills

Professional and friendly attitude

Strong work ethic and behavior

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to collaborate well with all team members

Excellent attention-to-detail

Excellent resourcefulness, self-motivation skills and initiative

Ability to prioritize tasks

Ability to function well in a high-paced, demanding, and / or strenuous environment

Neat and clean appearance during working hours

Intermediate computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Solid math skills and ability to calculate customer cost, as needed.

From interview to last day of employment, the ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Continual ability to pass a background clearance verification

Education and Experience :

High School Diploma, GED and / or a certification from an accredited school

Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Experience in reception and customer service environment

5 plus years of sales experience

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, answering phones.

Use repetitive motions

Lift up to 25 lbs.

Reach over head with ease

Complete job with safety in mind for all involved and communicate any issues to the assigned SME that could lead to safety concerns prior to completing tasks

Ability to work long hours during peak seasons
