Job Summary
The Chief Financial Strategist is a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing financial operations, planning, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This onsite position involves leading a team and serving as an advisor to the site leadership team to drive business results.
The Opportunity
- Partner with GM and other Leadership to provide overall business financial operation and support.
- Understand key contracts and KPIs, analyzing variances and supporting corrective actions as needed.
- Manage financial outlook, ensuring accurate forecasts and understanding key drivers of variances.
- Lead preparation of monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, and annual strategic plans and budgets.
- Ensure site operations comply with company policies and internal control framework, maintaining sound financial management.
- Lead and develop a team to provide insightful analysis supporting business decisions, driving analysis to action.
What You Bring
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Previous Finance leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Must have worked in and supported a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in understanding and ownership of core financial statements and business forecasting.
- Ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing accounting.
- CPA or CMA certification desired.
