Director of Planning and Allocation, US

Tonies US is seeking a highly skilled Director of Planning and Allocation to be responsible for developing and executing a planning and allocation strategy that meets US market demands. This leader will drive reliability across channels, balance our player-plus-attach model with retail demands, and align closely with global supply chain timelines. Key focuses include:

• Ensuring optimal product availability across all sales channels.
• Balancing retailer and Amazon growth needs with internal planning priorities.
• Supporting a seamless supply chain through proactive problem-solving and alignment with global partners.

This role is based in the United States and reports to the VP Operations. Due to the regular interaction with the global team, core working hours are 8-5 Eastern US Time, with flexibility to connect with the global team 1-2 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee planning and allocation processes to ensure reliable product availability across channels.
• Develop and implement strategies that balance retailer and Amazon growth needs with internal priorities and global supply chain schedules.
• Serve as an internal advocate to challenge retailers and third-party partners, ensuring our planning aligns with company growth objectives.
• Collaborate closely with global teams to align on inbound shipment dates and troubleshoot supply chain issues proactively.
• Drive a performance-driven culture, leveraging data and insights to enhance planning and forecasting accuracy.
• Manage Direct Reports; lead and facilitate team collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, allocation, or a related function within a consumer goods or retail-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of omnichannel logistics, inventory management, and retail planning.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical skills and familiarity with supply chain planning software and tools
