POSITION DESCRIPTION
TONO Architects is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our skilled & motivated team. As an Architectural Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, and designers. Your attention to detail and proficiency in drafting software will be crucial in ensuring accurate and precise drawings.

Requirements:
- Associate degree in Computer Drafting
- Preferred 1-3 years of professional work experience in an office through internships or employment
- Proficiency in drafting software including Revit, Enscape, and AutoCAD
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work schedule accordingly.
- Flexible, innovative, self-motivated and team oriented.
- Knowledge of Revit standards and techniques.
- Familiarity with interior design concepts and practices.
- Basic understanding of International Building Codes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and construction documentation.
- This position is for in person / in office only.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings using Autodesk software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, and other data to determine the best approach for creating drawings.
- Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, relevant codes and regulations.
- Prepare drawings for construction purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.
- Read, understand, and decipher plans, specifications, shop drawings, engineering drawings, project schedules and plan red lines proficiently.
- Assist with construction administration RFIs, Submittals & Addendums.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
