Job Description: We are looking for experienced Personal and Commercial Insurance Account Managers to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing customers, and provide outstanding service for the daily needs of our customers. Our Account Managers are responsible for all aspects of servicing their customers, providing one point of contact. Support staff are in place for processing behind the scenes and our Account Managers provide back-up and support to each other as needed.
Location: This position is in our Braintree, MA office. Remote working is available, but we prefer time spent in the office weekly – especially while learning our workflows and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Prepare renewals, endorsements, and confirmations to customers
- Assist customers with reporting and settling claims
- Investigate and answer billing questions
- Research coverages and rates to provide choices for our customers
- Welcome and foster opportunities to acquire new customers and round out existing accounts by marketing, quoting, and delivering proposals
- Create and maintain relationships with our insurance company partners
- Deliver superior customer service while adhering to guidelines and workflows
- Be eager to expand your skills and knowledge
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current MA Individual Insurance License or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property & casualty insurance
- Strong computer skills — experience using AMS360 and DocSTAR is a plus
- Comfortable with interacting with clients and colleagues using online video meetings
- Excellent phone communication skills
- Superior organizational and communication skills, flexibility, an eye for detail, and an ability to work independently
- Self-motivating, client caring, and team-oriented
- Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize, and be efficient
