About the Role
The District Retail Sales Manager will serve as our Brand Ambassador responsible for servicing 60-120 Walmart and other retailers in assigned area by merchandising, selling, maintaining displays, reordering product, and promoting new and current products to ensure a positive shopping experience for our loyal consumers.
Who You Are
- CPG (Food) industry experience equivalence preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience calling on Walmart Stores in a CPG sales merchandising role.
- Seeking a full-time CPG sales career.
- Enjoy sales and in-store merchandising.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive history of working independently, self-starter.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 7 overnights monthly.
- General computer skills using Microsoft Office.
- Reliable vehicle with clean driving record.
- Pass drug screen.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long hours, drive for 2 hours, walk most of the day and ability to build approved retail in-store displays.
What You Will Do
- Visit 8-12 retail stores daily in assigned Knoxville and surrounding areas
- Develop positive working relationships with grocery managers in assigned stores.
- Ensure Tony Chachere’s products are positioned correctly on shelf and aligned with current modular.
- Sell and build in-store display features.
- Utilize Tablet (computer) for selling and managing product line in stores.
- Tony Chachere Brand Ambassador to retail store managers and consumers.
- Frequent communication with supervisor and team members.
