Job Title: Lube Technician Department: Service
Reports to: Service Manager Effective Date: 4/10/23/23
Job Summary:
Perform light maintenance and repairs which include lube, oil, and filter changes, balancing and rotation of tires, and flushing cooling systems. Responsible for supporting the companys Vision: Best place to work & Best place for our guests to do business and Mission: Build long term relationships with our associates & guests & make a positive difference in our community.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Repair Work- Performs work as outlined in the Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy and in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Road test vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
Communication- Communicates with Service Advisor about the status of the repair, to include additional work if needed. Must also communicate with the parts department regarding parts for the repair. Advises Service Advisor if repair work results in a change in the vehicle appearance or condition.
Documentation Must document all work done and recommended on the repair order
Training- Must be current in all mandated factory and dealership training.
Tools and equipment Must maintain both personal and company tools and equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and one to two months of related experience.
Physical Requirements: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
