POSITION SUMMARY:
The Scan Coordinator I ensures pricing information is entered into the pricing software accurately and timely at store level. The job of the pricing coordinator involves reviewing batches created at Corporate level, data entry, updating retail/cost prices and verifying new items. Each pricing coordinator works with the pricing department at Corporate for all pricing needs. This requires close communication and a good rapport with the Tony's pricing team. Scan Coordinators are also in close contact with store level employees to ensure all prices are accurate at the registers.Day to day responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Apply daily batches sent to the stores from corp.
- Store walk-through to verify any damaged signs that need replacement
- Dairy short dates entered on excel to be sent to Pricing Dept. at Corp.
- E-Wic items not found entered on excel to be sent to Pricing Dept. at Corp.
- Weekly verification of pricing on Produce department items
- Weekly verification of pricing on Bakery department items
- Weekly application to store host to compare & update in Dropbox
- Weekly transfers for all departments
- Email item PLU's with item description to Corp. that are not found so that they can be
entered into the BR Data system - Produce Price Changes (verified by produce manager daily)
- Weekly separations of signs for New Sale items that need to be displayed
- Weekly change of signs on Front and in cap displays on new sale items
- Put up signs for discontinued items from corporate
- Printing new tags/signs for items updated from corporate weekly
- Daily check & responses on emails sent via Tony's Microsoft Outlook Store rushes happen almost immediately
- - Pricing Coordinators are encouraged to open on
register to help with customer service to check out customers when rushes occur.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED, 3-5 years in supermarket industry
Effective leadership, interpersonal communication, and excellent customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast paced environment; strong time management and multi-tasking
skills - Sound judgement/problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent on Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail to ensure all data entries are as accurate as possible
- Organizational skills Communication skills

The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. *Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.
Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training. The Company offers competitive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits to its team members. Team Members are also able to participate in the company's 401k plan that includes a safe harbor match. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with IL Senate Bill HB2139 and state and local minimum wage standards.
