Responsibilities:
- Lead F&I Operations: Oversee the finance and insurance processes, ensuring smooth transactions while maximizing dealership profitability.
- Convert Cash Deals to Finance: Engage with customers to present finance and insurance options, converting cash transactions where appropriate.
- Process Finance and Lease Deals: Accurately structure, process, and submit finance and lease deals to lenders, including subprime deals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect new and used vehicle finance and insurance transactions.
- Documentation: Complete and review paperwork related to vehicle transactions, ensuring accuracy in titles, liens, taxes, and insurance requirements before forwarding to accounting.
- Contracts in Transit: Ensure contracts in transit are completed and funded within 7 days to maintain cash flow and lender relationships.
- Insurance Verification: Confirm that full-coverage insurance is in place for all vehicles sold before the customer leaves the dealership.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Coordinate finance forecasting with the sales department to align with dealership goals.
- Secure Profits: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure reasonable and ethical profits from each deal.
- Customer Satisfaction: Foster high levels of customer satisfaction through a transparent and professional finance process.
- Team Collaboration and Training: Provide leadership and training for the sales team on finance and insurance products and strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in automotive finance or sales, with subprime finance expertise required.
- Ethical and Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates high ethical standards and precision in managing finance processes.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train teams to achieve results.
- Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of automotive financing, lease structures, and regulatory compliance.
- Customer-Focused: Dedicated to upholding high customer satisfaction and improving CSI scores.
- Local Candidates Preferred: Candidates from the local area are strongly preferred. Relocation is considered only for those who commit to moving before starting, with no relocation assistance provided.
