40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste. 

We’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 111 million registered users and 237,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already prevented 410 million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.107.000 tonnes of CO2e!

Your mission

We are looking for a Data Analysts to strengthen our use of data to inform our most business critical decisions. On a daily basis, you will be working with a dedicated team of analysts who are working with finance and marketing to improve reporting and build data products for key use cases.

Your role

• Support business stakeholders in defining and leveraging data products that drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with your analyst team to own and manage the data roadmap for finance and marketing.
• Generate new ideas for how to leverage the data we have to drive business performance
• Elevate data literacy across the organisation, with an eye toward consistency, ease of understanding, and educating on the right way to use data in each function.
• Elevate the Global Analytics team by sharing best practices and learnings and offering ad-hoc guidance to other team members on their projects.

Requirements

• You have previous experience in an analytical role
• You are driven by the “why” behind the work that you do, always eager to ask an extra question to make sure you’re solving for the right thing
• You are passionate about data literacy 
• You have a proactive mindset and work well in a team environment
• You are proficient in SQL
• You are excited by the opportunity to work with and learn about DBT and Redshift
