We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of our accounting functions and ensure financial integrity across the business. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Operations: Oversee and manage A/R, A/P, payroll, and month-end closings for the company
- Supervise the A/R department, ensuring timely collection and task completion
- Streamline and manage A/P processes, prioritizing bills and creating weekly budgets
- Process semi-monthly payroll, ensure accuracy of hours, and handle sick pay and PTO requests
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and distribute monthly budgets, monitor financial reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Reconcile and close books by the 5th of each month. Prepare business reports, financial forecasts, and statements
- Team Support:
- Organize and maintain financial documentation (e.g., receipts, PO matching), and ensure proper equipment use and documentation
- Communicate effectively with the team and provide support as needed
- 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with strong experience in A/R, A/P, payroll, and month-end close
- ERP software experience required; QuickBooks knowledge is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with payroll software (ADP preferred) and financial management tools
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and sit for long periods
- Frequent repetition of movements (e.g., typing, filing)
- Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year
- Paid Time Off (PTO): One (1) week of paid time off (40 hours) to be used within the first 12 months. PTO does not carry over and is not paid out upon separation
- Sick Pay: Up to 40 hours of accrued sick pay annually, with the option to carry over unused hours up to 40 hours
- Health Benefits: Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage for you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision. Too Sweet Cakes will cover up to $379.54 per month for the employee's medical premium and full coverage for dental premiums
