What are the responsibilities and job description for the CTE Specialist 25-26 School Year position at Tooele County School District?
- Oversees all CTE shop/lab safety and equipment maintenance for the district. Provides teachers with all necessary safety trainings.
- Assist with coordination and development of CTE programs throughout the district.
- Oversees the CTE internship and Work Based Learning programs.
- Serves as the CTE coordinator contact for teachers in Wendover and Dugway.
- Sits on the Wasatch Front Region CTE Special Projects committee.
- Assist with 7th grade College & Career Awareness, CTE advisory boards, CTE professional development and CTE student organizations.
- Assist with promotion of CTE programs and pathways.
- Willing to travel to district, state, and regional meetings
- Be a resource for the CTE school coordinators.
- Assists CTE Director as required

Job Requirements:
Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in CTE area – shop experience or lab experience preferred. Would need a good knowledge of CTE programs and courses.
