What are the responsibilities and job description for the Launch Engineer position at TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES?
Automotive Product Launch Engineer- Soft and Hard Trims
Location _ Casa Grande Arizona
The ideal candidate should:
- Have an engineering degree ideally in mechanical engineering.
- 3 years experience in CAD design (preferably 3Dx or Catia V5)
- Been involved in at least 2 automotive program launches (6 months before SOP until 3 months after SOP)
- Hard trirm upper/lower preferred.
- Soft trim, carpet and NVH a bonus.
- Experience on root cause analysis
- Ecube reviews / measurements
- Organize / lead metrology resources to produce the dimensional results (scan for instance) for proper root cause analysis
- DOE
- Familiar with fish bone, 8D’s, …
- Hands on experience (himself or directing activities through drawings, PPT’s, …)
- Capable of coming up with quick countermeasures to fit issues.
- 3D print solutions
- Tape, foam
- Grinding, cutting, …
- Capable of directing / mentoring people on the line to accomplish proper installation of our portfolio of components (point #3)
