This job is for the Catering Prep Coordinator at our restaurant located in The Shoppes of Ocoee.
Our Catering Prep Coordinator takes pride in creating classic recipes and flavors of a traditional New York deli. This key role is critical to our success in executing the highest quality food with speed and efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
You must be able to work in the kitchen, preparing all catered meals for offsite client. Once completed, the Catering Prep Coordinator packs, delivers and sets up the catered lunches and events offsite.
Driver's License and current Florida auto insurance required. Final candidates will receive MVR background check and must show proof of insurance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field
- Flexible and long hours required at times
- Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed
- Must be able to maneuver safely throughout the walk-ins and kitchen during the shift
- Able to handle and operate safely: steamer, knives, steam table, gas range, convection ovens, meat slicer, digital scales, automatic dish machine, all chemical solvents and hot water
- Has the ability to reach overhead, carry/transport sheet pans, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers
- Approach all encounters with Guests in a friendly, socially distanced and service-oriented manner
- Continuously clean high touch points throughout the kitchen area
- Maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay's business levels which may vary based on the needs of the restaurant and check list protocols per Covid-19 standards of cleanliness
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves when/where if required and as regulated
