We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team at TooJay's Deli Bakery Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for training and developing team members to deliver high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Manage restaurant operations, including inventory, scheduling, and customer service.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve restaurant performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and 1-2 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant or related field.
- Current Manager ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain by end of training period.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Flexible and long hours required at times.
- Able to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Capable of maneuvering throughout the dining and kitchen area throughout the shift.
- Able to operate all front and back office computer systems and all office, cleaning, cooking, and food preparation equipment.
- Able to reach overhead, bend below the waist, crouch, lift, stand, sit, twist, and communicate intentions to co-workers.
