Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Calibration Technician based in Tipp City, OH. The Calibration Technician will be responsible for calibrating precision instruments, industrial hand tools, and aviation M&TE in our climate-controlled lab. Daily tasks include performing calibrations, recording data, preparing certificates, maintaining calibration equipment, and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards. The technician will also communicate with customers to determine their needs and provide exceptional service, as well as support onsite calibration services within the designated area. Looking for candidates with experience in Dimensional, Electronics, and Pressure.
Qualifications
- Experience in calibrating precision instruments, industrial hand tools, and aviation M&TE
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and NIST traceable calibrations
- Proficient in recording data and preparing calibration certificates
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled lab and perform onsite calibrations
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Experience with calibration software and tools is a plus
- Valid driver's license required for onsite calibration visits
