Database Developer – Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL
We are a fast-growing international IT company based in Greenwood Village, CO that specializes in analytics and AI solutions for financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, government and oil and gas. We are currently looking for a highly motivated Database Developer with a desire to break away from the corporate work environment and embrace a small, yet rapidly growing company atmosphere.

Job Description:
- Data architecture, design, Oracle (PL/SQL) and Postgres (PLPGSQL) programming, query writing and tuning for AI-focused applications.
- Analysis of customers’ data schemas, creation of and updates to PL/SQL and PLPGSQL code that integrates customers’ data into our schemas.
- Testing, maintenance, Agile code reviews, deployment support, ticket grooming.
- Migration of Oracle data structure and code to Postgres.
- Following the coding standards and conventions.
- Occasional DevOps duties: debugging and solving customer-reported issues.
This position is an in-office, full-time role. Our office is in the Denver Technological Center area, and provides excellent in-building facilities including garage parking, a gym, and proximity to a Light Rail station.
Required Skills:
Excellent development skills in one or both: Oracle PL/SQL, Postgres PLPGSQL (if fluent in one but not the other, then willingness to learn the other).
Thorough understanding of query and programming efficiency.
Ability to analyze customer’s data and convert/integrate to our internal schemas.
Experience with Linux/UNIX as a user.
Git or similar source management tools.
Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently.

Mac/OSX user skills
Linux/UNIX scripting
Agile Methodology
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or in a technical or scientific discipline with strong computer programming emphasis;
or equivalent 2 years of programming experience
