PHP Backend Developer
We are a fast-growing international IT company based in Greenwood Village, CO that specializes in analytics and AI solutions for financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, government and oil and gas. We are currently looking for a highly motivated PHP Backend Developer with a desire to break away from the corporate work environment and embrace a small, yet rapidly growing company atmosphere.

Job Description:
This position ensures that the needs and the requirements of the customers and the developers are met. You will work collaboratively with developers, support staff, product managers and executives throughout the planning and development lifecycle.
· Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to code standards
· Quickly create prototypes of ideas, and make sure the design meets requirements
· Create interfaces that are easy to use and friendly to our customers
· Document and communicate design ideas to fellow team members
· Discover and fix bugs
· Participate in code standard and code review meetings
Skills Required:
· Experience in object-oriented software development using PHP and relational databases (Oracle and/or Postgres preferred).
· Experience with MVC frameworks such as Symfony (preferred), ZendFramework, or Laravel.
· Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
· A strong ability to write and debug code that is reusable, testable and efficient.
· Experience working in a Linux or MacOS environment.
· Experience using modern Version Control Systems such as Git or Mercurial.
Desirable Skills:
· 3 years of experience writing MVC PHP web applications or APIs.
· Experience with Agile development lifecycle tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
· Experience writing unit, integration, and application tests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, CIS or similar discipline, or equivalent experience (2 Years). Background check required.
