A Day in the Life of a Billing Coordinator
As a Billing Coordinator, you will distribute incoming mail, receive / deposit checks, process daily cash receipts, and submit monthly invoicing to our clients. Our team of Project Accountants will rely on your help setting up projects in our ERP system, generating billing, and updating project files. You'll assemble invoices and perform a variety of general accounting tasks with attention to every detail. You'll help ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of our professional services and get to work on a team that is diverse, dynamic, supportive and talented.
Work Schedule for a Billing Coordinator
This position is full-time in office Monday through Friday. The Silver Spring office of Toole Design is our corporate headquarters. We are conveniently located just outside of Washington DC in downtown Silver Spring, two blocks from the Silver Spring Metrorail / MARC Station and bus depot. Our beautiful 8th floor suite offers stunning views of DC and surrounding Montgomery County. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.
We are targeting a wage of $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Requirements
Qualifications of a Billing Coordinator :
- An associate's degree in accounting is preferred but additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- At least 2 years of hands-on administrative or data-entry experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and experience with accounting software
- Knowledge of the project structure in a client / consultant business environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
