Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Algebra I & Living Environment Tutor to join our team. This role involves providing in-person tutoring to high school students across NYC, preparing them for the Algebra I and Living Environment Regents exams.
Compensation: $28-30/hour
Schedule:
- Commitment starting October 16, 2024, through May 2025
- 2 five-hour days each week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized and small-group tutoring sessions
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learner needs
- Track and assess student progress, offering consistent feedback
- Use varied instructional strategies to enhance learning
- Work collaboratively with school staff to nurture an inclusive learning environment
- Engage in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
