Toolkit Tutors is a provider of in-school and after-school tutoring services, committed to enhancing student learning through a blend of traditional high-impact tutoring and study skills training.
Job Description : Pay : $30 / hr
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bilingual Spanish - High School Math Tutor to join our team to provide in-person tutoring services to a Brooklyn high school starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will work in-person with high school students, assisting them in improving their math skills and preparing them for the Regents exams. Being bilingual in Spanish is a crucial asset as it will help us better support our diverse student population.
Compensation and Schedule :
Target launch date November 20, 2024
Schedule of 3 five-hour days each week
Pay range from $30 per hour depending on prior tutoring experience
Key Responsibilities :
Provide individualized and small-group tutoring sessions in high school math to students in grades 9-12.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those who are English Language Learners.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to support student learning and engagement.
Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.

Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.

Ability to work effectively with high school students and adapt to their individual learning needs.
