Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour, based on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Biology Tutor fluent in Mandarin to support our Biology/Living Environment class. In this role, you will work directly with Mandarin-speaking students as they prepare for the June Regents exam. You will collaborate closely with our teaching team to ensure that all students receive the guidance and support they need to excel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored tutoring in biology with a focus on living environment topics
- Assist Mandarin-speaking students in understanding complex biological concepts
- Help students prepare effectively for the June Regents exam
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans and instructional methods
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
- Fluency in Mandarin
- Strong background in Biology, with experience in tutoring or teaching preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for education and student success
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (5 hours per day)
- Position duration: April 8 through June 17
