Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop project budgets and timelines while implementing cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct construction site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates for electrical work and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant industry standards.
- Provide leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction estimating, and cost control practices.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam software for project management tasks.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
