Electrical Estimator/Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and construction estimating. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop project budgets and timelines while implementing cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct construction site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed construction estimates for electrical work and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant industry standards.
• Provide leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving project goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction estimating, and cost control practices.
• Proficiency in using Bluebeam software for project management tasks.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
