Seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with a True Entrepreneurial mindset. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading. transporting and setting up various furniture items into the customer's homes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload products from the vehicle in a safe manner
- Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate with customers to address any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain delivery records and collect payments when necessary
Skills:
- Proficient in driving and operating a delivery vehicle
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles but isn't a MUST to drive manual.
- Familiarity with 26' Box trucks (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Knowledge of route driving and efficient delivery practices
- Basic warehouse knowledge for loading/unloading tasks
