Our client, a Chemical Solutions manufacturer, is seeking a chemical compliance specialist to join their team.
Title: Chemical compliance specialist

Type: Full Time Direct Hire Exempt
Schedule: Hybrid 2-3 days on site
Location: Austin TX
JOB DUTIES:
- Implement chemical compliance policies and procedures
- Analyze, manage and prepare regulatory reports including, but not limited to CDR, PFAs and HFC reports
- Manage and verify Safety Data Sheets for all products
- Work with external stakeholders, including business units, production sites, regulatory agencies
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of new products, reformulated products in accordance with industry regulations and compliance to both US, Mexico and global regulations
- Promote awareness chemical compliance policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Environmental Science Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years minimum of experience in a chemical compliance position or related
- Strong analytical skill and ability to assess technical information
- Comprehensive understanding of chemical compliance
- Knowledgeable in TSCA, California Prop 65, PFAS, HFC
- Ability to travel 5-10% of the year
- Ability to work across diverse teams
