Position : Licensing Coordinator

Industry : Japanese entertainment company

Location : West Los Angeles Area / Southern California

Pay : $21-26 / hour (DOE) plus benefits

Status : Full time / Direct hire / Non-exempt

Work Schedule : Hybrid, work from home is up to 10 days a month

  • after in-person introductory period

Duty :

  • Responsible for deal negotiations for local, global, and import / export deals involving Latin / South America, either directly with licensees or through local agents or affiliate offices
  • Organizing territories and categories licensed
  • Reviewing quarterly royalty reports
  • Liaise between legal department and management or partners for all legal topics
  • Overseeing and resolving any issues during approval process; communicate with local partners and licensors in Japan

    • Qualifications :

  • English and Japanese bilingual
  • A strong administrative skill; superior organizational and time management skills required
  • Minimum of 2.5 years' experience in consumer product, promotional and event licensing preferred
  • Experience working with partners in Latin / South America preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting for sales booking and budgeting preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to attend international / domestic business trips, up to 20%
