Top Gun Staffing Group LLC has partnered with an employee benefits TPA (third-party administrator) to identify a Junior Software Developer to join their team on a permanent, direct-hire basis. This role is 100% REMOTE for candidates living outside a 50-mile radius from South Burlington, VT or Exeter, NH! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in healthcare, employee benefits, or EDI, particularly in a B2B and / or B2C environment.
Responsibilities :
- Translate business requirements into software solutions adhering to the architecture and technical standards of the strategic business unit.
- Develop, maintain and refactor in-house data extract / transformation console applications and web-based workflow management utilities.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, contributing to software development standards, code reviews, and version control.
- Act as a technical resource for server-based third-party applications within the AppDev team scope, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting as needed.
- Monitor and address daily performance events, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
