Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and permitting process for land development projects.
- Design stormwater management systems and erosion control measures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and manage permit applications while coordinating with regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineering staff.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
- Conduct quality reviews of design plans, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Utilize industry-standard engineering software to develop designs and project plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in land development design and permitting, with expertise in stormwater management and erosion control.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it through reciprocity.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and stormwater modeling tools.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to create and manage Excel spreadsheets, reports, and presentations using Word and PowerPoint for both Teams and in-person meetings.
