This is a full-time on-site role as a Concrete Superintendent. The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing formwork, heavy equipment operations, flatwork, ready mix concrete placement, reinforcing and carpentry tasks on construction sites located in the greater mid-south including but not limited to, Tennessee, Arkansas, & Mississippi.
Qualifications
3 Years prior experience in commercial concrete construction field supervisor role.
Experience with Heavy Equipment operation.
Knowledge of Flatwork and Ready Mix Concrete placement best practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage construction projects.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Safety certifications and training in ACI & OSHA standards.
Prior experience as a Concrete Superintendent, Foreman or similar role.
Experience with forecasting, scheduling, and managing field personnel activities.
Experienced with flatwork, tilt up, & structural concrete, including but not limited to elevated cast in place structures.
Experience in concrete finishing and decorative concrete is a plus.
Bilingual English & Spanish is a plus.
Willing to travel out of town for extended durations is not required but is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software for project scheduling and coordination.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, fostering effective communication in both English and Spanish.
- Review blueprints and contracts, managing resources and forecasting project needs.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
