Job Requirements
As an Electrical Engineer at Top Gun Staffing, Inc., you will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for our industrial manufacturing clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget.
- Collaborate with vendors to review and inspect designs, drawings, and electrical plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to gather data, verify tie-ins, and provide electrical construction support.
- Supervise onsite contractor activities, ensuring adherence to company requirements and electrical safety protocols.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and costs, monitoring progress and identifying potential risks.
- Design and implement industrial power distribution systems, including 13,800V, 12,470V, 4,160V, and 480V systems.
- Evaluate power loads and energy requirements for new equipment installations.
- Prepare bid packages, combining specifications, standards, and drawings to solicit bids from qualified contractors.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, NEC NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and NESC/ANSI C2 regulations for all electrical infrastructure projects.
- Optimize power system performance and reliability through effective protection, control, and monitoring strategies.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to minimize disruptions to plant operations during project execution.
