Job Summary
Top Gun Staffing, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems in a dynamic industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget.
- Collaborate with vendors to review and inspect designs, drawings, and electrical plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to gather data, verify tie-ins, and provide electrical construction support.
- Supervise onsite contractor activities, ensuring adherence to company requirements and electrical safety protocols.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and costs, monitoring progress and identifying potential risks.
- Design and implement industrial power distribution systems, including 13,800V, 12,470V, 4,160V, and 480V systems.
- Evaluate power loads and energy requirements for new equipment installations.
- Prepare bid packages, combining specifications, standards, and drawings to solicit bids from qualified contractors.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, NEC NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and NESC/ANSI C2 regulations for all electrical infrastructure projects.
- Optimize power system performance and reliability through effective protection, control, and monitoring strategies.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to minimize disruptions to plant operations during project execution.
