Core Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of airport engineering projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Oversee design components, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage project documentation.
- Develop proposals, bid packages, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
- Ensure budget and schedule adherence, monitor milestones, and manage risks.
- Represent the organization in meetings, presenting technical details and progress updates.
- Address project challenges, enforce contract specifications, and oversee quality assurance.
- Mentor junior engineers in airport design and project execution.
Business Development
- Support marketing efforts and attend industry events to expand business opportunities.
- Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to project scopes and fee proposals for management review.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering.
- 12 years of experience, preferably in aviation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and funding processes.
- Familiarity with South Carolina airport infrastructure is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Licensure & Certifications
- PE licensure in South Carolina (or ability to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license.
