Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage transportation engineering projects across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, ensuring successful planning, design, and execution.
- Develop and implement strategic growth plans for the transportation division, aligning with company goals and regional opportunities.
- Serve as a technical expert, guiding teams through complex engineering challenges while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee project teams, managing budgets, schedules, and quality control to deliver exceptional client results.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including PennDOT, municipal agencies, and private-sector clients.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying new project opportunities, leading proposals, and representing the firm at industry events.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of professional growth and knowledge-sharing.
- Incorporate emerging technologies and innovative engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 13 years of progressive experience in transportation infrastructure, including highways, bridges, rail, water, or traffic engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
- Strong experience with PennDOT projects and familiarity with local transportation agencies in Lancaster and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other industry-standard design software.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and client management skills, with a strong track record in stakeholder engagement.
- Business development acumen, including experience with proposal writing, contract negotiation, and revenue growth strategies.
