JOB SUMMARY
All Sales Specialists-Commercial Certified will operate as the lead point of contact for any and all commercial customer matters. To maintain a solid presence on the phone to ensure all customer calls are handled appropriately.

JOB FUNCTIONS
- Answer telephone calls and emails to assist customers that require service around commercial products, product applications, and markets. This would include questions around product warranties and technical support.
- Assist in handling commercial project quotes and entering orders. This would include active engagement with customers in following up on quotes.
- Execute upselling and cross selling actions on all incoming customer phone calls by asking probing questions.
- Participation in ongoing product knowledge training on market leading brands within the commercial architectural markets as outlined by Sales Leadership Team. This would include self-paced and self-motivated training.
- Continue to develop a functional understanding of commercial markets and product applications.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership Team and Product Management Team.
- Diligent in completing required reports and executing department processes as outlined by Management Team
- Network with Outside Sales Team to effectively service customers.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members on the Inside Sales Team.
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence in a timely manner.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Correspond with our vendor partners as needed.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2 years work experience in sales environment or a bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Ability to multi task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
- Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Door hardware knowledge a plus.
- Highly proficient computer skills including Outlook, MS Word, Excel.
- Ability to pass commercial product assessment.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
