Job Description
In this position, the Install Plumbing Technician will ensure proper and safe installation of all equipment. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serving the company’s customers through expert installation of replacement systems.
- Wearing floor savers while in the customer's home.
- Using drop cloths to protect the customer's floors while performing an installation and maintaining a neat work area at all times.
- Checking each aspect of an installation before leaving the job to prevent unnecessary callbacks.
- Explaining the system to the customer when finished with an installation and ensuring that they are 100% satisfied with the work.
- Being safety conscious both on the job and while driving.
- Performing a full system change-out in 1 day or less.
- Ensuring your truck is neat and clean both on the inside and outside at all times. The truck is one of the best billboards that the company has!
- Training installation assistants and teaching them to work independently for maximum installation efficiency.
- Obey company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules
- Have a positive disposition and portray an attitude of willingness
Physical Demands:
- Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
- Operate handheld power tools
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
Working Environment:
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for up to 8 hours
- The Technician may work in awkward environments and will have to carry all required equipment and supplies at all times.

Requirements
- 4 years’ technical and trade experience
- Current plumbing license
- Understanding of the current regulations within the field
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clean driving record and an ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
