Job SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for the movement of materials and product for the Whitney Operations of DynaEnergetics US. They are also responsible for inventory control measures, quality inspection assistance, and that all work performed is done in a safe and efficient manner. The responsibilities also include ensuring all traceability and inventory documentation is in place and maintained. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay when pre-approved by Management. 2nd shift hours - 2pm-10 : 30pmMust pass an ATF background check Must pass a drug test Payrate 17.50 / hour Monday - Friday with 2 Saturdays a month Upon permanent hire there areAnnual Salary Increases 401K matched at 5% vested at day 1Safety Shoe Voucher / Reimbursement3 weeks paid vacation 8 paid holidays 2 floating holidays Tuition ReimbursementResponsibilities-Validate data for Quantities of parts to be issued and transferred between locations-Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with repairs, manufacturing, and inspection personnel-Prepare and participate in physical inventory when needed-Prioritize Saw / Machine shop jobs based on instructions indicated on pick ticket and understand how the order is processed from raw material to receipt of the completed part. (Applies to Whitney Production only)-Monitor and control inventory integrity-Operate forklift and truck equipment to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.-Move product by loading / unloading shipments to carriers' vehicles and store them in appropriate areas (Applies to Whitney / Blum warehouse material handlers only).-Perform cycle counts as requested by Supervisor-Maintain product identification and location program-Match paperwork with job to ensure accuracy of job, proper lengths and number of pieces, apply the proper label and identify the exact lengths marked at the end of the cut.-Research inventory discrepancies and report to Supervisor-Document and control aged and damaged product-Ensure all materials are labeled-Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy-Prepare and participate in physical inventory when needed-Perform shipping and receive duties-Record data as required for all receipts and shipmentsEducation and / or ExperienceERP / MRP experience required (SyteLine a plus)Ability to follow documented procedures and standardsAbility to interpret packing slips, enter correct information into computer systems, and acknowledge receipt of the goods Solid knowledge of inventory control and inventory practices Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashionHighly motivated, organized, and a self-starterExtremely detail oriented with numbers and data entryPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsPrepare and participate in physical inventory when neededPrioritize work orders based on instructions indicated on pick ticket and understand how the order is processed from raw material to receipt of the completed part.
