Job Summary Operates a production machine and / or performs assembly in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Assembly line operation to meet production goals.
- Packaging of final product.
- Quality assurance of semi-finished and final product.
- Safe preparation and handling of hazardous materials.
- Record data as required for production tracking purposes.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment and products as required
- Operates according to Company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use personal computer utilizing various programs for document development, editing and communication.
- Operates office equipment including fax machine, telephone, copier and postage meter.
- May have exposure to semi-confidential information.
- Complete required explosive awareness training.
- Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

- Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisor and co-workers.

- Knowledge of general computer programs including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the Internet.

- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to calculate with the use of fractions and / or decimal system.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to learn to operate an overhead crane and forklift.
- Must be able to pass ATF clearance check.
