SummaryResponsible for the coordination of timely shipments of quality finished products and receiving of production materials and consumable supplies into the inventory system. Requirements

- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Operate overhead cranes, jibs, forklifts, trucks, and other equipment necessary in the movement of materials to perform the job.

- Experience with expediting of shipments.

- Forklift operator for incoming material.
- Enter / Receive metals and materials into computer system.
- Prepare cover page for receiving inspection and combine with traveler, and mark plates for identification.
- Notify material recipient that material has arrived.
- Prepare bill of lading for outgoing shipments and arrange trucking.
- Prepare customs paperwork when required.
- Address mark each shipment leaving and attach proper MTR / Certification.
- Enter / ship all material leaving into the computer system including A & A.
- Backup forklift operator for exiting product.
- Attend planning post bond meeting, keep track of shipments, customers on hold and act as a liaison between sales and production.
- Arrange trucking for incoming materials as needed.
- Assist in handling of internal and supplier incident reports in performance reporting system.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
