Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to guest services, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest interactions effectively.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to help colleagues as needed.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous but not required.
