We’re looking for an experienced and creative Brewer to join our team and take our brewing program to the next level.
Position Overview:
The Brewer is responsible for managing the brewing operations. This includes developing new recipes, brewing core and seasonal beers, maintaining brewing equipment, and ensuring that every pint served is of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical skill, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
Brewer Basic Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all brewing operations, including brewing, cellaring, and packaging
- Adhere to all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Diligence in record keeping and documentation
- Tracking batch data with QC/QA analytics
- Brew, cellar, transfer, filter, package beer according to SOP's
- Yeast propagations and fermentation
- CIP processes
- Support production team and production according to direction from
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all brewing equipment and facilities
- Monitor fermentation and perform quality control testing
- Manage inventory of raw materials and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations (TTB, ABC, etc.)
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to align beer offerings with seasonal menus and promotions
Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional brewing experience (brewpub or production brewery preferred)
- Strong knowledge of brewing processes, equipment, and sanitation practices
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creative and passionate about the craft beer industry
- Formal brewing education or certification is a plus
