Job Title: Home Center Account Manager

Department: Sales

Reports To: Strategic Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

The Home Center Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key home center accounts, including HPM, Home Depot, Costco, and Lowes. This role focuses on driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management, excellent customer service and collaboration with internal teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key home center accounts, serving as the primary contact for all account-related matters.
  • Develop a clear understanding of all home center portals.
  • Respond to emails answering any questions they may have.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor box store performance scores and deliver reports to the Strategic Relationship Manager.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Relationship Manager and Designers on how to improve performance scores.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Relationship Manager to implement strategic sales plans aimed at achieving revenue targets for assigned accounts.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Stay updated on market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities within existing home center accounts.
  • Product Promotions:
  • Keep current on box store promotions and ensure that information is accurately reflected in the system.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to align and support account initiatives.
  • Conflict Resolution:
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by accounts promptly and effectively to maintain positive relationships.
  • Design Support:
  • Provide accurate pricing drawings to designers and make revisions as needed.
  • Assist the new slab program for Home Depot to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Customer Satisfaction Calls:
  • Conduct follow-up calls after ever installation to ensure customer satisfaction, asking for “5-Star” reviews on Google and Yelp, and confirming they are "Extremely Satisfied."

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in the home improvement or construction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with countertop products is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with countertop products is a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional store visits and industry events.
